Momentum

We have memories that call our sight,
Those fractions and glimpses of smiles,
Frequencies of laughs and calls,

We seem to hold it dear,
Close to our heart and soul,
For a moment of peace,
To remember that it was once part of us!

We all seem to grasp like the wind blowing across the trees,
Yet we can't let go like the rocks in the river currents.

Foreseeing a future of joy,
While flipping tear stained pages,
Of lips, skin and you.

To remember is a fraction of a second,
To forget is to stop breathing,
To forget is to die.
To remember is to live, but forever!
