My Apocalypse

I feel the tremors as they roll by,
Sinking my soul deep within in,
Crushing my throat so tight,
Inaudible words escape – so mute!

I try to escape this torment,
As sweet dreams collide and darken,
I fall deep within… lost!
The labyrinth extends so vast!

I search for light,
No voices near or far,
I’ve fallen deep,
A life of seconds lost.

Running, turning, falling!
I’ve tumbled in lost words,
Searching for the way back up,
Dead?

An apocalypse so bitter,
A prediction I’ve seen and ignored,
You’ve won!
My sweet disposition.
